The second stop of the Pokemon Video Game Championships was in Fremont, CA. With the conclusion of this tournament stop, it was apparent that Trick Room was the dominant strategy, with Rain Dance teams and "goodstuffs" being the next most dominant. There were 127 participants chosen via the on-site lottery, with one tournament spot being reserved for a member of GamePro, a gaming magazine. Over 300 seniors registered for the senior divison, and there were even those good enough at pokemon that didn't get selected. Sometimes though that's just the way things work. In the end, batpig from Smogon.com was the champion, with Sidd, from both Smogon and our forums, coming in third. The senoir final videos are below. Batpig runs an interesting team, with Transform Smeargle and an Imprison Dusknoir, being both an Imprison team and a Trick Room team at the same time.
